- DareBase Instalation
-
- DARE.EXE is a self extracting 'ZIP' file.
- DAREBASE.ZIP contain the same files, but is not self-
- extracting. Either of these can be opened on a 1.44
- floppy, or on your hard disk.
- Once opened, run the SETUP.EXE file included to
- install DareBase on your hard drive. README.TXT contains
- a list of the files DareBase will install, most of which
- are DLL's that may or may not exist on your system, but
- are included in case they do not.
-
- Please note : on some systems, depending on configuration
- and/or software installed, you will receive TWO warning messages
- during SETUP, both regarding the file 'DDEML.DLL'.
- These DO NOT indicate a problem. The first message offers you
- one choice - "OK" - take it. The second offers three choices -
- "CANCEL" "RETRY" and "IGNORE". Choose ignore. Setup WILL
- finish the instalation. This does not indicate a problem,
- it's merely a nuisance.
-
-
- Enjoy, and whether you choose to use and register
- DareBase or not, I'm very interested in your comments,
- suggestions, etc.
